Important Notice:
Dear user,
The UOC's Relief Maps website will cease to operate as of 31 January 2026. Here is a detailed timeline of the changes:
- From 30 September 2024: It will no longer be possible to register as a new researcher user on the UOC Relief Maps website.
- Until 31 January 2025: If you are already a researcher user, you will still be able to create new projects and collect data on the UOC’s Relief Maps website.
- From 31 January 2025 to 31 January 2026: You will only be able to collect data and access existing data through the UOC’s Relief Maps website. However, creating new projects will no longer be possible.
- After 31 January 2026: The UOC’s Relief Maps website will be permanently closed, and you will no longer be able to access or retrieve any data.
Therefore, we strongly recommend concluding your data collection and downloading all the information generated by your projects before 31 January 2026.
As an alternative, you can access a new version of the Relief Maps tool created by the INTERMAPS project at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF). This new version offers enhanced features for data collection, analysis, and visualization. You can find more information on the new Relief Maps website and also in the launch webinar that will take place on 2 October 2024 at 16:00 h Barcelona time (free registration here). More details will be available on the INTERMAPS website.
Best regards,
The Relief Maps Team
